A standout tight end at Division II Wester Oregon, Kevin Boss was named an All-American in 2005 when he hauled in 53 receptions for 621 yards and 8 touchdowns. He started 31 out of the 33 games he played in college and left school after his junior year where he was then drafted by the New York Giants in the 5th Round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
Sitting behind Jeremy Shockey for the majority of the season, Boss finally got his chance when Shockey went down with a season-ending injury and took over as the team's starting tight end. He had two touchdown catches down the stretch for the Giants and continued his strong play throughout the Playoffs, highlighted by his 45 yard catch and run in Super Bowl XLII that helped the Giants knock off the previously unbeaten New England Patriots.
