| Looking to bolster their secondary, the New York Giants selected Corey Webster in the early portion of the 2005 NFL Draft. A first team All American at LSU his senior year, Webster has brought his playmaking ability to the NFL and has given the giants exactly what they were looking for.
He recorded several interceptions in his first preseason and forced a key fumble in the regular season, continually earning more and more playing time, while at the same time becoming another key piece in the Giants' young and up and coming secondary and overall improving defense.
Webster then made a name for himself in the 2007 Playoffs, helping to shut down the likes of Joey Galloway, Terrell Owens, Donald Driver, and Randy Moss. His overtime interception against the Packers in the NFC Championship Game led to the game-winning field goal and he played a key role in the Giants' improbable Super Bowl XLII victory over the previously unbeaten New England Patriots.
This Unframed 8x10 New York Giants Photo of Webster's overtime interception in the NFC Championship Game is signed by Webster and comes with a BC Sports Certificate of Authenticity.
