Originally drafted by the Montreal Expos in 2002, Darrell Rasner made his Major League debut with the Washington Nationals in 2005.  After a few appearances late in the season for the Nationals, he was claimed off of waivers by the New York Yankees and the big right-handed pitcher earned his first Major League win in a game he started for the Yankees in September of 2006.  He made a few more starts in both 2006 and 2007 and then earned a place in the starting rotation in 2008 when the team was looking for someone to step up. Rasner got off to an exceptional start and has since become a regular in the Yankees rotation.
