An imposing wideout at 6’4”, Hank Baskett also possesses the hands and speed to be a top notch wide receiver in the NFL. After starring at New Mexico, where he was one of the nation’s premier receivers, Baskett was overlooked in the 2006 NFL Draft due to a sub-par 40 time in his workouts.
He still got his chance in the NFL though when he was signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted rookie free agent. Shortly afterwards he was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles where his NFL career would begin to take off. After impressing coaches and teammates alike with his ability to grasp the system during the preseason, as well as his physical ability on the field, Baskett quickly became a key contributor on the Eagles offense.
He quickly gained the trust of Donovan McNabb thanks to his great hands and ability to make plays downfield and earned himself a starting position in the Eagles’ offense. Baskett then became a fan and city of Philadelphia favorite after his huge 3 catch, 112 yard game against the Dallas Cowboys, which included a game-breaking 87 yard touchdown catch and run. Having become a key piece of Philadelphia’s high powered passing attack, Baskett is being counted on to continue to make big plays and be a consistent pass catcher in their offense.
This Unframed 8x10 Philadelphia Eagles Photo is signed by Baskett and comes with a BC Sports Certificate of Authenticity.
