Francisco Rodriguez, better known as KRod for his ability to strike opposing batters out, is the closer for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. After being an incredibly successful set-up man for most of his career, Rodriguez stepped into the closer role in 2005 and has been a dominant force coming out of the Angels bullpen. In 2004, he set career highs in ERA, innings pitched, strikeouts, saves and games, and has helped make the Angels one of the most successful and consistent teams in the league.
