The 2004 Naismath Award Winner as college basketball's best player, Jameer Nelson is a big time scorer who uses his strength and speed to relentlessly attack the basket. One of his main strengths is as a defender, which was illustrated by his impressive 3 steals per game average in college, where he starred at St. Joseph's University.

After being drafted in the first round of the 2004 NBA draft, Nelson displayed a solid jump shot during his rookie season, especially in the mid range game. He's also shown a knack for finding his teammates in traffic and is a creative passer, which has helped him to earn the starting point guard position for the Orlando Magic.
