| "Tom Terrific" Seaver broke into the majors in 1967 and soon after established himself as one of the greatest power pitchers in the game. He won the NL Rookie of the Year Award in 1967 and quickly helped turned the New York Mets losing franchise into one of the league's elite teams. Seaver led the Mets to a World Championship in 1969, the same year he won the first of his 3 Cy Young Awards. Over his 20 year career, he started on Opening Day a record 16 times and finished his career with 311 wins, a 2.86 ERA, and 3,272 strikeouts. Seaver was a 13-time All-Star and was elected into the Hall of Fame in 1992, his first year of eligibility. This framed 8x10 photo is signed by Seaver and comes with a certificate of authenticity. |
