| After a star-studded collegiate career with the Florida Gators that included 2 All-American selections, Lito Sheppard was drafted in the 1st Rd. of the 2002 draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. He sat for a year behind veterans Troy Vincent and Bobby Taylor but was inserted into the starting lineup in 2004 following the release of the two veteran players. Many critics ripped the Eagles for making such a move, but Sheppard quickly silenced them, earning 1st Team All-Pro honors and a starting position for the NFC Pro Bowl team in his first year as a starter. He led the Eagles with 5 interceptions, 2 of which he returned for TDs, including a 101 yd. return against the Dallas Cowboys. Sheppard now finds himself as one of the starting cornerbacks in what many consider one of the best secondaries in the league. This framed 8x10 photo is signed by Sheppard and comes with a BC Sports Certificate of Authenticity. |
