| Originally drafted by the Anaheim Ducks with the 7th Overall Pick in the 2002 NHL Draft, Joffrey Lupul is equipped with all the tools to be an elite forward in the NHL. With the size and tenacity to play a physical game and also the speed and stick work to play a finesse style, Lupul has established himself as one of the league's top young goal scorers. Following two years with the Ducks, Lupul was traded to the Edmonton Oilers where he spent a year with the team before being traded to the Philadelphia Flyers. In Philadelphia, Lupul was paired with several other young, up and coming players that are looking to return the Flyers to the top echelon of the NHL. Lupul's physical play was welcomed by both the team and its fans and he also displayed his scoring touch, recording 7 points in his first 6 games with the team, while also recording two hat tricks in one week of play.
