| A standout athlete in high school, Aaron Ross committed to the Texas Longhorns and became a contributor in 2003. He began to see more substantial playing time and played a key role on the Longhorns' 2005 National Championship team, when he had 3 interceptions, 2 punt returns for touchdowns, and earned All-Big Twelve Conference honorable mention. Ross earned a starting corner position in 2006 and did not disappoint. He was named an All-American after racking up 80 tackles, 6 interceptions, and 19 passes defended and won the Thorpe Award as the nation's top defensive back.
Ross's standout college career led the New York Giants to select him in the 1st Round of the 2007 NFL Draft. The team was counting on Ross to bolster their secondary and help them remain among the NFC's elite teams and he did exactly that, recording 42 tackles and 3 interceptions in his first year.
He came up big in the Playoffs as well, playing through pain to help the team shut down several high-powered offenses, including the Patriots during the Giants Super Bowl XLII victory.
This New York Giants Replica Mini Helmet is signed by Ross and comes with a BC Sports Certificate of Authenticity.
