Mike Bossy, known as the "Boss", established himself as one of the NHL's all-time greats by recording 573 goals and 553 assists in only 752 games, an incredible average of 1.5 points per game. He set an NHL record with a record 9 straight 50+ goal seasons and was a driving force behind the NY Islanders dynasty that won 4 consecutive Stanley Cups from 1980-1983.

In the process, Bossy scored the Stanley Cup winning goals two years in a row, the only such player in NHL history to have done so. He was voted #20 on the Hockey News list of the 50 best players of all time and was a first ballot Hall of Famer in 1991.
