A standout outfielder for the Detroit Tigers for the better part of two decades, Al Kaline is regarded as one of best players in the franchise's history, not to mention the entire MLB. The youngest player ever to win a major-league batting title, at 20 years old, when he batted .340 in 1955, Kaline would go on to have a stellar career at the plate where he would rack up 399 home runs and over 3,000 hits.
Kaline was just as proficient in the field, earning 10 Gold Gloves during his playing years and finishing his career with an impressive .987 career fielding percentage. The 15-time All-Star was a member of the Tigers' 1968 Championship team and is widely regarded as the most popular player in the history of the franchise. Kaline was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1980.
This MLB Baseball Inscribed "HOF 80" is signed by Kaline and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
