Miguel Cabrera, still in his early 20's, has a long career ahead of what has already been an extremely successful major league stint. An incredibly versatile player that can play both 3rd base and outfield, he had an instant impact on the Florida Marlins after being called up in 2003. His offensive production was immediately noticeable and he played a key role in helping the Marlins to win the World Series over the heavily favored Yankees, including a clutch HR off Roger Clemens in his first at-bat against the future Hall of Famer.

In 2004, his first full season, Cabrera earned All-Star honors and followed that up with All-Star seasons in 2005 and 2006.  His incredible offensive production (he consistently bats above .300 and is among the league leaders in Home Runs and RBIs) and above average and versatile defense should keep this All-Star trend going well into the future.
